Reine sits on a narrow spit of land in the Reinefjord, surrounded by peaks that rise almost vertically from the water. It is the most photographed village in Lofoten, and for good reason.
What to do
- Walk the harbour and the bridge at the entrance to the village for the classic view.
- Take the small ferry into the Reinefjord to Vindstad and walk to Bunes beach.
- Climb Reinebringen for the view everyone has seen on Instagram.
Good to know
Reine is where most people end up on rainy days in the west, so cafés fill up. The E10 through the village is narrow, so park properly and walk.
