- Small lot by the bridge, very limited
Hamnøy is one of the oldest fishing villages in Lofoten. Its red rorbu cabins against Olstinden are the cover shot of a hundred guidebooks.
What to do
- Photograph the village from the old bridge on the E10.
- Stay in a converted rorbu and watch for northern lights over the fjord in winter.
Good to know
Do not stop on the bridge itself. Traffic is heavy in summer and the road is narrow.
